Club Noir Music presents:
LOU HICKEY GIG
Having spent the past year as Co-Writer and Vocalist of the critically acclaimed duo Codeine Velvet Club with Jon Fratelli, Lou Hickey is now releasing her own brand of vintage pop on the world.
Fresh from Codeine's hugely successful run of dates in the UK and US including SXSW in Texas, Lou will be showcasing her first full length solo album at the O2 ABC Glasgow with her own show.
With two self-produced EPs already under her belt, Scotland's Most Eligible Woman 2010 has established an impressive independent solo career. She's supported the likes of Martha Wainwright, Suzanne Vega, Madness, Noisettes and Imelda May. Lou is also Lead Singer at the world's biggest burlesque club - Club Noir, where she's wowed their audiences of thousands at the O2 Academy, T in the park and Connect Festival.
A sexy mix of quirky jazz and burlesque glamour, Lou's blend of retro pop perfectly reflects her vintage style, which has earned her recognition from the fashion world, bagging the Most Stylish Musician at the Scottish Style Awards. You could follow Glamour magazine's advice who named her as "one-to-watch" for 2010. You can have the pleasure of watching her on 24th June!

Supported by Sean G
This talented 22 year old has just signed a music writing publishing deal with “Notting Hill Music”, the home of Madonna, Jennifer Lopez, Bob Dylan, Eminem, Michael Jackson to name a few. Not surprising - his theatrical pop/rock sound sold out the famous Viper Rooms in New York. He's a multi talented musician, using his drums, singing, bass, and keyboard skills to play his own songs that have influences of The Beatles, The Doors, Jeff Buckley, The Police, Buddy Holly, Fleetwood Mac and Johnny Cash.
