| | ENGERICA to support SEETHER - 8:17 am, 17th Mar 2006 | British rockers ENGERICA have just been announced as support for SEETHER on their upcoming April tour. After just finishing a successful run with YELLOWCARD, ENGERICA are now touring to support their debut album "There Are No Happy Endings" which was released on 13th March. Edited by Vex, 6:06 am, 20th Mar 2006 | | THURSDAY return to UK - 3:11 am, 8th Mar 2006 | New Jersey band THURSDAY have confirmed that they will be returning to these shores for a series of dates starting in Oxford on May 26th. "We are so excited to announce that we will be crossing the Pond for the first time in over a year and a half. We will be heading over to play a bunch of shows for our new record which is finally finished. We've missed being on the road and we are so psyched that we get to head over to your neck of the woods so soon," said lead singer Geoff Rickly. Their new album "A City By TheLight Divided" is due for release on May 1st.
Edited by Vex, 6:39 am, 9th Mar 2006 | | MAIDEN announce tour - 4:42 am, 7th Mar 2006 | Metal legends, IRON MAIDEN have announced a Winter tour which will kick off in Cardiff on 11th December 2006. Shows will also take place in Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow, Newcastle, Sheffield and Dublin, with the final date being at Earls Court, London on 22nd December. TRIVIUM have been confirmed as support for all eight dates and tickets will be available for general sale on Friday 17th March at 9am.
Edited by Vex, 4:07 am, 8th Mar 2006 | | PANIC CELL to support STAIND - 3:46 am, 2nd Mar 2006 | PANIC CELL have just been confirmed as support for STAIND on three of their upcoming UK dates – Manchester (4th March), Nottingham (6th March) and the London Astoria on 8th March. PANIC CELL have just finished a successful two week tour with SOIL and AMERICAN HEAD CHARGE where their performance upstaged both bands on more than one occasion. Although tickets for the Manchester show has now sold out, there are a few still available at ticketmaster for both the Nottingham and London dates.
Edited by Vex, 7:50 pm, 28th Feb 2006 | | HARD-FI dates added - 12:00 pm, 1st Mar 2006 | HARD-FI have added two extra gigs to their already sold out May tour because of increased demand. They will play Leeds on 21st May and Brighton on 26th May. Tickets are due to go on sale this Saturday 4th March at 9am and are expected to sell out in a matter of hours. It is unknown if more dates will be added so keep checking our listings for updates.
Edited by Vex, 7:46 pm, 28th Feb 2006 | | V Festival Line Up Announced - 8:00 am, 1st Mar 2006 | The line up for the V Festival 2006, which takes place on the weekend of 19th and 20th August has now been announced. MORRISSEY and RADIOHEAD will headline with other artists, PAUL WELLER, KASBIAN, KEANE and FAITHLESS also confirmed. The festival takes place in Hylands Park, Chelmsford and Weston Park, Staffordshire and tickets go on sale on Friday 3rd March at 9am from Ticketmaster. Last year, weekend camping tickets for the event sold out in less than three hours and this year the demand is expected to be similar.
